i read an article on startribune.com about a father who was charged for hitting the back of his 5 month old daughters head

And here is the story:
the father said he was drinking and then later on had been lifting weights. and when he set them down he accidently hit the back of his 5 month year old daughters head :[ he had been charged with a 3rd degree assault and endangerment of a child. she was hit in the back of the head , and the blood went to her nose, cause later they found dried blood there.
grosssss poor baby
and the father is now in jail
