Lucky T`

The book is getting better.
Carrie just found out that her mom sent her t shirt to india on accident!
she is terrified! and very angry, i would be too. this shirt actually seems like it as lucky for her. lol..

I know you feel mad about your t-shirt being sent to India, i would be too. im a very supersticious person myself. and i understand why you would be so mad about it. sorry your best friend thinks your crazy, my friends would think i was too if i told them my "lucky" t-shirt as gone forever. lol

Lucky T

Today during reading time in class i started the book Lucky T by Kate Brian.
its a good book so far, i hope i enjoy reading it cause i never find books i enjoy reading. besides magazines.. well anyway. Carrie has this luky T shirt, she assumes its lucky, her dad told her it was and she believes it is. her friend piper, thinks she is crazy, i agree with carrie though. why not think its lucky?? its always fun having fantasy's and using your imagination. especially when your a kid, but when your older most people think its silly, but it reminds you of being a kid :)
this seems like something i would do, i would actually think the shirt is lucky, especially if things happened to me, like what happened to her.

For my outside reading book i chose to read lucky T by kate brian, its about a girl who has this lucky t-shirt and her mom accidently donates it to help people in India, so carrie (the main character) goes there to try and find it.
i chose this book cause a friend told me it was good, and it kinda reminded me of the sisterhood of the traveling pants when they go to greece and try to find the jeans.

This now loves goat. eating it any way. I would never eat goat.. they don't seem like a meat food that would be good like chicken and turkey.. or hamburger. goats seem more like a milk animal. i think it sounds gross to eat a goat. unlike me, this guy loves eating goat..he really likes goat now. he always wants to order it at as many restaurants as possible. he starting becoming "go go goat" and i agree, he is go go goat. he has had all kinds of goat.. spicy goat.. he has even had indian goat.. he loves goat.. thats all he orders.. if they have it.. and he buys it to make at his house even! i would think he would get some... problems with his body from eating so much goat.. this guy now loves goat........

War

There was an explosion, and iraqi had pressure triggered a roadside bomb..his legs were ripped off and he died... American and Iraqi soldiers are still invading and destroying homes. THe war is still just as violent there as is was two years ago. some of the soldiers in iraq say they are not doing what they should be doing as to what the other soldiers are doing.. this will cause the war to last longer or cause america to loose. "these guys are going to fight, and they are going to die"
this was a quote said by colonol Rago. I think this war is stupid. and it should just be over and done with. (who doesnt think that?) war is stupid and all countries should unite! haha... people need to be more condiserate of others and not just themselves, even if its for the whole country. there are other country's out there also doing the same thing. i dont like politics and all this stuff. so i dont even know what this war is about. but it should just stop..

Colonization

The scientist from this article Dr. Gott predicted in 1993 that humanity would last atleast another 5100 years. and now he says that to ensure our long-term survival we need to get a colony started on mars within the next 46 years. this article talks about scientific stuff and previous predictions made by other scientist's. and why they agree or disagree with their arguments about humanity's life span.
I personally dont know much about science and our earth. but i do not believe that starting a new colony on mars will do anything for us..

Genocide in Darfur is a big global issue. TONS of people are killed, and put through pain and suffering in Sudan. the government in sudan isnt very good, they arent doing anything major to try and stop the horrible things going on there. and they may keep continuing if no one trys to fight against it, in a major way. the government and people who are againt alot of ethinicities and racial people... that has caused alot of what has been going on in Darfur...
